City Lights was created by Philippe Guiboust and Hervé Genriès in 1998 and has consistently produced quality theatrical musical classics. Hervé drives the business while Philippe leads the artistic production. Past productions include Romeo and Juliet, Béjart Ballet, Marcel Marceau’s World Farewell Tour and Michel Legrand tours. Their production of Romeo and Juliet was the biggest selling musical in France. Romeo and Juliet was licensed across the globe.
At the beginning of 1990 Philippe decided to set up his own public relations and communications company “Pleins Feux” working with the most prestigious theatres in France; Compagnie Renaud-Barrault, Théâtre de Villeurbanne, Théâtre de la Criée … where he met his current business partner Hervé Genriès. In 1992 Philippe and Hervé were commissioned by Warner International to promote their catalogue of international artists that included Cher, Olivia Newton-John, Sting, Gloria Gaynor and numerous other British and American artists.
Conceiving City Lights Entertainment, Philippe and Hervé established themselves as an artistic management agency representing international stars.
CLE enjoys continued success as a London based international agency.
